Bas is founder and owner of Hamarcon BV. From his very first job until today, he has been working in the maritime industry. He is a true all-rounder and has his sailing certifications (Master/Engineer certificate 500 GT/3000 kW) and experience as a skipper. Since 2002, as technical manager, he was responsible for the global technical support of a fleet of commercial vessels. In addition to daily maintenance, he oversaw the new construction and conversions of various ships and sea-going vessels as a project leader. In 2016, he decided to set up his own company and also focus more on the technical management of private yachts. Those who know him appreciate his no-nonsense approach, his wealth of knowledge and his boundless energy. A true go-getter, who is always available and really goes the extra mile to realise your plans.

In the area of owner's representation and project management for private yachting, we work closely with WMC Superyachts. Jim Boot is the founder and owner of WMC Superyachts. Jim has decades of experience dealing with most of the complex problems that need to be addressed when building a new (mega) yacht or performing a major refit. From the design phase through contract negotiations and writing (or improving) the technical specifications to the actual construction phase, monitoring the quality and progress of the project. By tackling few projects at a time, he ensures that your project gets all the attention it deserves. Jim has excellent communication skills and is an extremely valuable link between customer and yard.
